Human & Social Services
In efforts to provide support during the COVID-19 pandemic, Keystone Development Center wishes to provide local families and individuals of the Las Vegas, Nevada metropolitan area with food, toiletries, housing and rental assistance and needed medical supplies. In addition, we are collecting donations of PPE personal protective equipment, N-95 masks, and hand sanitizer, for our local heroes on the front lines (all hospital staff, grocery store staff, and first responders). Furthermore, we will be providing gift cards to local grocery and big-box stores for families to purchase needed items. It is also to assist senior citizens who are immobile to provide groceries, toiletries, or other needed supplies to be delivered to their doorstep. Veterans Reach Program
We know veterans who mostly have problems blending back into society mostly suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), substance abuse, depression and thoughts of suicide. These things develop mental health issues, family issues, homelessness among other things. What we strive to do is help veterans participate in activities or programs that can help alleviate a lot of stress or thought processes that linger on past experiences. Once we can engage a veterans and find something he or she are enthusiastic about, we encourage them to participate with other veterans so they can have something in common with. We partner with other veteran programs and can refer them if necessary.
